Welcome to our blog

Hello and welcome to our new blog! I don't really know what I'm doing but I'm picking things up along the way. I decided to start a blog (online diary) because it seemed a good way to share updates on our home improvements (and any other interesting events), and an alternative to clogging up your inboxes/crashing your computers with emails, photos etc.

I'll be the first to admit that this blog will probably be very boring to almost everyone but our own parents! But hopefully the rest of you will gain some amusement or interest through a quick skim-read from time to time. The picture of us in the dust masks epitomises our DIY experience - dust, dust and more dust! There is just no escaping it.

The next few posts will be retrospective as I'm going to go back to when we first moved into our new flat (in August last year).
